OFFERS EXPERT ADVICE FOR OLDER ADULTS

SAN RAFAEL, CA – The Seniors Resources Forum presents “Planning for Your Future,” a panel discussion followed by free 20-minute private meetings with experts.  The forum will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2009 from 1:30 – 4:00 PM at the San Rafael Community Center located at 618 “B” Street in San Rafael.  The event is sponsored by the San Rafael Goldennaires.

Local experts will provide information in the areas of: family conflict resolution, homecare, long-term care insurance, estate planning, Medi-Cal planning, elder law, senior psychology, geriatric care management, affordable housing, transportation, and adult day services.

“The concept is to provide an array of experts so that people have a chance to explore many options and get as much information as possible in a short period of time,” says Carolyn Rosenblatt, co-founder of the Forum, a nonprofit organization.  “The best part is that people have multiple opportunities for one-on-one time with experts.”
